Links to websites that I have found useful
Not all directly X-plane related, but hey
Harrier Air - This guy is trying to build a radio controlled
XB-70, and has just bought a copy of the flight manual for it. Between us, we should be able to improve my XB-70
model quite a bit.
NASA Scientific and Technical Information - A search engine
for NASA documents (seems quite a few are out of print, especially for the XB-70).
X-Plane.com - self explanatory really
X-Plane.org - A repository for X-Plane resources - including
my airplanes
Aircraft Plans - A site in Russia which has lots
of downloadable plans of aircraft - really useful for modelling
Woodspring Wings model aircraft club - Model aircraft
enthusiasts who organise a real air display each year. Only 5 minutes from my house (which also means it's in the
approach pattern to Bristol Airport, so some urgent phone calls were needed at various points in the display. The
thought of an airliner taking off just as a Hawk does a zoom climb to 10000ft is a bit scary.
Dilbert - The home page for Dilbert, who would appear to
work in my office...
The Register - A useful news site for tech geeks like me
- also the home of the BOFH (if you don't know the BOFH, you're in for a shock.)
Zeno's Warbird Videos - An amazing collection
of instruction videos for WWII aircraft - as used by the US Army Air Force for pilot training. Requires RealPlayer,
so windows only (as far as I know).
Airwar.ru - Another site with lots of sets of
drawings
